Early Learning and Child Care Quality Improvement Project (Introduce the project and its purpose). 

The Early Learning and Child Care Quality Improvement Project (ELCC QIP), Ezhi-mno-gshke’ewizing Kognaawsang Nokiijigan (“How We Raise Our Children in a Good Way”), is a community-driven initiative led by the Anishinabek Nation to strengthen Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care (IELCC). The project is grounded in Anishinaabe teachings, knowledge systems, languages, and community priorities, with a focus on defining and advancing high-quality Indigenous early learning from an Indigenous perspective. 

Who this Work Supports?

Early Childhood Educators, Supervisors and Managers, Child Care Programs and Centres, Families and Caregivers, Community Leaders, Knowledge Holders and Elders, Language and Culture Teachers, First Nation Communities across Anishinabek Nation Territory.
 

The project aims to strengthen relationships, learning opportunities, leadership development, and culturally grounded supports that benefit children, families, educators, and communities.
